Didn't think you could use a folding knife to baton wood? Think again.

-The custom polished blade,
and it's full flat grind aided in it's ability
to slice right through wood-
The Cold Steel Rajah III tore through wood like a beast, and it's only a folder. The Tri-ad lock, designed by Mr. Andrew Demko is truly an amazing lock. After chopping, batoning, and putting much stress on the lock itself, it still didn't let me down. No, you shouldn't rely on a folder for all of your bush craft needs, but if you HAD to rely on a folder for a lot of your woodland tasks, you might want to consider taking one of these with you on your next camping trip.

-It's size is perfect for making kindling!-

-And after all the chopping, it's AUS8
blade still had a decent edge-

My favorite EDC pack: Maxpedition Remora

The Maxpedition Remora is the BEST backpack I've come across yet for my EDC (Every Day Carry) needs. Some may call the need to carry a small backpack full of goodies around with me every day is a bit excessive, but to me it's 100% necessary to go about my day. It holds everything I might need in a day, plus much much more. Everything from tools, snacks, ect. To a very respectable first-aid kit. It's not for everyone, most people leave the house with nothing but their keys and wallet. But to me this is second nature. I leave the house, I grab my Remora. It goes with me on walks, and to any store I happen to stop in at. Do I get strange looks? sometimes. But I've also gotten some complements! But I like knowing I can be self reliant, and handle almost any situation thrown at me at any given day. If you're interested in knowing more, check out the videos in this post. :)

-A nice walk through the woods-

How to use a Shemagh as a face wrap

Here is just one of MANY ways to tie a Shemagh as a face wrap.
Very useful in many ways and applications. Here is one of them!
By wearing it around the face and head as shown, it protects you from harsh elements.

Works great in cold AND warm weather. In desert, woodland, and urban environments.
I like to wear mine in the winter time to keep my face warm while working outside, and I even wear it it around my waist in the summer at time, so that I have it at the ready when I need something to protect my head and neck from the sun.
